BOOK REVIEW: Into You by Riley J. Ford
What if you could know exactly what your friends are thinking? High school student Winter Reynolds can, but there’s a catch . . . She can only read people’s thoughts when she’s kissing them. When a member of the track team is murdered, Winter has an opportunity to use her special ability to find the killer. Trouble is, kissing everyone on the track team isn’t such a good idea when you have a new boyfriend. Talk about complications! Should Winter persevere using her secret power to catch the murderer still in their midst, even if it means risking her relationship with her one true love?
- A teen paranormal romance with a twist.
- A young adult romantic comedy that will tickle your funny bone with its offbeat humor

- Written in a similar comedic style as Emily Giffin and Jennifer Weiner.
- A must-read that has already hit the teen best sellers lists.
Riley Ford’s brilliant, fast-paced Young Adult Paranormal Fantasy will not soon leave my memory. “Into You” deals with real teen problems in a fun way. From the first page this novel is UN-PUT-DOWN-ABLE! The novel is packed with humor and heartache, romance and betrayal, life and death. The author is abundant in talent, as evidenced by this debut novel, and I immediately connected with the voice! Winter Reynolds (complete with her unique paranormal kissing-gift) is a multi-faceted young adult character, but the depth of character does not end there. Her best friend, Miranda, and even Miranda’s quirky-but-judgmental parents, are also fully-developed. Jason aka Stumblemyer makes for a fantastic and realistic male lead. This character-driven paranormal mystery is packed with emotion and the twists in the story will shock and surprise you. And what better way to explore coming of age than to show the point in one’s life where they begin to weigh their personal desires against ensuring the well-being of others? I can’t wait to see more from this author . . . I am a fan-girl already!
